Leadership
John Monteith founded Monteith Masonry in 2006. As President, John is responsible for the company’s business strategy, including acquiring and deepening client relationships, improving client satisfaction, generating new business, and promoting recognition within the industry.
Mr. Monteith assumed his current role following 20 years with a family masonry business where he served as the business development executive, as well as operations manager. Based on his experience and industry expertise, he decided to start his own firm, Monteith Masonry. His vision to create this company came from many years of observing how construction firms operate. Based on his opportunities to engage in different areas of the business, he was able to leverage his experience and create his own company - built on the tenants of price, promise, and purpose.
Mr. Monteith studied biology and chemistry at Bob Jones University and is an alumnus of The Foundation for the Carolinas Impact Fund for Emerging Philanthropists class of 2007. He is also a member of the North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association. He earned his OUPV licensed sea captain certificate from the US Coast Guard, and enjoys saltwater sport fishing and spending time with his wife and two daughters. |
